Determined to get that project done on time, even though your joints have begun to ache and you're feeling a little light-headed? Can't take the chance of staying away from the office because someone might suggest that you're not pulling your load? If you answer yes, you're probably a practitioner of "presenteeism" - the act of showing up at work or school, even though you probably should be at home getting over whatever it is that ails you.
