Newer Canadian immigrants have fewer heart health risks

Immigrants who have lived in Canada for more than 15 years are at greater risk of developing cardiovascular disease than those who have lived in the country for a shorter period of time, according to research by the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences.
