Traditional or country foods such as Arctic char and beluga whale skin are an important source of nutrition and an integral part of the culture among Inuit in Canada's north. That's why Canadian scientists are trying to trace the path of toxic mercury that increasingly contaminates these foods as the Arctic grows warmer.
