Overseers 2011 election results

The president of the Harvard Alumni Association (HAA) today (May 26) announced the results of the annual election of new members of the Harvard Board of Overseers.  The results were released at the annual meeting of the association following the University’s 360th Commencement.  The five newly elected Overseers are introduced here: Flavia B. de Almeida (São Paulo, Brazil) is a partner in The Monitor Group, an international consulting firm, and head of its São Paulo office, where she specializes in corporate strategy and governance.  After undergraduate studies at the Fundação Getúlio Vargas, she received her M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 1994. Richard W. Fisher (Dallas) is president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, former Deputy U.S. Trade Representative, and a leader in studying the impact of globalization on monetary policy.  Born in Mexico, he is a 1971 graduate of Harvard College.
