FAS presents Diversity Dialogues
Leadership in a diverse community, unintended bias, and the impact of devaluing messages that can impair productivity are among the issues that will be addressed in Diversity Dialogues, a series of seminars to be offered by the Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS). Stephen Young, co-founder of Insight Education Systems, will present “Microinequities: The Power of Small,” a seminar on the impact of “devaluing messages which can impair performance and productivity,” on Oct. 20 in the Faculty Room in University Hall. On Dec. 15, Connie Wong, founder and managing director of CWS Associates, will offer “Inclusive Leadership: Managing Successful Teams,” a seminar on leading diverse teams and how to build a culture of inclusiveness, in the Radcliffe Gymnasium, 10 Garden St. Mahzarin Banaji, Richard Clarke Cabot Professor of Social Ethics in the Psychology Department and senior adviser to FAS Dean Michael D.
