Harvard community can help

Thursday, April 18, 2013 - 17:31 in Psychology & Sociology

Dear Members of the Harvard Community: We are still stunned by Monday’s tragedy, mourning for and with those who have lost loved ones and suffered grave injuries. In times like these, we turn to one another for comfort and strength. The president’s office has received numerous inquiries from members of this community asking how they can help. Your heartfelt generosity in the face of such pain is uplifting. As you may know, Governor Patrick and Mayor Menino have set up The One Fund Boston to help families affected by these horrific events. We hope you will consider donating to this cause by visiting http://onefundboston.org, or supporting those affected by this tragedy in other ways you might find meaningful. You will find a link to The One Fund Boston on harvard.edu, Harvard Employee Intranet (HARVie), Friday’s Daily Gazette, and through Harvard social media channels. Sincerely, Office of the President Harvard University
