Board of Overseers 2013 election results
The president of the Harvard Alumni Association today announced the results of the annual election of new members of the Harvard Board of Overseers. The results were released at the annual meeting of the association following the University’s 362nd Commencement. The five newly elected Overseers are: Susan L. Carney, New Haven, Conn. Judge, United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. She is a graduate of Harvard College (A.B. 1973) and Harvard Law School (J.D. 1977) Christopher B. Field, Palo Alto, Calif. Melvin and Joan Lane Professor for Interdisciplinary Environmental Studies at Stanford University and founding director of the Department of Global Ecology at the Carnegie Institution for Science. He is a graduate of Harvard College (A.B. 1975) and holds his Ph.D. from Stanford (1981). Deanna Lee, New York, N.Y.
