Public Service Fellows gather

Tuesday, October 8, 2013 - 14:10 in Psychology & Sociology

President Drew Faust welcomed the Presidential Public Service Fellows back to campus Oct. 2 with lunch at the Harvard Faculty Club. Each year, 10 outstanding students from across the University are chosen based on their commitment to serving the common good.  Fellows pursue summer projects in a range of fields, including education policy, youth empowerment, civil rights, and international relations. The fellowships are awarded on a competitive basis to undergraduates and graduate students participating in government and community service, nongovernmental organization and nonprofit work, and innovative projects that serve the common good. The application process for summer 2014 fellowships will be announced at a later date.
