Health Net to settle over canceled coverage

The health insurer is to pay at least $2 million to California hospitals and up to $14 million to former policyholders, under deals made this week. Health Net Inc. has agreed to pay California hospitals at least $1.95 million for care delivered to patients whom the insurer later dropped.
