HIV drugs drastically reduce transmission risk

A breakthrough study in Africa shows a pill with anti-HIV drugs decreases transmission of the virus that causes AIDS by as much as 75%.The results were so compelling that one of the studies was halted early and the drugs given to all the participants, researchers said Wednesday.
