VA program offers new benefits to caregivers of 9/11 veterans, including monthly stipends and health insuranceThe Department of Veterans Affairs recently launched a program offering stipends, health insurance, respite care and other services to families caring for soldiers injured in wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. It's the first time VA has extended this kind of help to caregivers.
