Coronavirus cases in California top 60, officials warn of greater spread

New cases of the coronavirus were reported several areas of California on Thursday, including cases in the Bay Area that indicate the virus is spreading in the community. Some 60 people across a dozen counties in California have now tested positive for COVID-19, and at least one person has died.
