The Planetary Society, devoted to exploring space, has worked out of a 1903 Greene and Greene house for more than 20 years. Now it has put the property up for sale in pursuit of modern digs. Maybe it's because a working model of the Mars rover is plopped in the nook of what was once a grand, ornate fireplace.
