Obama pledges new steps to promote responsible fatherhood

The initiatives include recruiting and supporting mentors and launching a fathering reentry program for ex-convicts. However, the president also notes that 'we can't legislate fatherhood.' President Obama on Monday pledged a series of new initiatives to support responsible fatherhood, but called on fathers to recognize the limits of government to achieve what only they can do in the home.
