Plastic bag ban advances in Pasadena

Once an ordinance is crafted, the Pasadena City Council will vote on a plastic bag ban similar to Los Angeles County's. Paper bags would cost 10 cents each under the new rule.Pasadena officials have moved forward with a plastic bag ban that will require grocers, convenience stores and vendors to stop offering plastic bags and to charge 10 cents for paper bags.
