The rangelands of Iran have one of the world's longest history of agriculture development, but new pressures to feed an increasing population of humans and livestock in the region has taken its toll on the land. A recent study was conducted to determine the most effective method of instructing pastoralists in Iran in ways of preventing further degradation of the land.
