Naked Mole Rats May Hold Clues to Successful Aging

Naked mole rats might not win any beauty contents, but they may hold the secret to successful aging. These rodents from East Africa have extraordinarily long lifespans with good health almost until the end. Researchers at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio have found that naked mole rat tissues are remarkably efficient at discarding damaged proteins.
