Many don't know that for a new i-phone or state of the art flat screen to work, earth's atomic elements are needed. Resembling a lot of old mud to some, to those in the know, these chemical elements are gold dust. Now, thanks to a lot of chemistry and engineering, Australia is forging ahead in becoming a key player in this new industry, reports Sharon Kelly.
