Six out of ten university students have 'math anxiety' according to a new Spanish study. This problem affects more women than men. Tension, nervousness, concern, worry, edginess, impatience, confusion, fear and mental block are some of the symptoms of this disorder. Many students choose degrees different to those they preferred in order to avoid studying subjects connected with mathematics, according to researchers.
