The results of a two-year study of pre-schoolers in Canada has revealed significant differences between the children in different weight status groups for food responsiveness, emotional over-eating, enjoyment of food, satiety responsiveness, slowness in eating, and food fussiness. A longitudinal study now follows to determine if there are associations between the environment and weight status, and the impact of those environmental influences.
