New scientific milestone in optical communications: Revolutionary chip for optical routers

Researchers in Spain, the Netherlands, and Canada have achieved a scientific milestone in the field of optical communications. After many months of research, they have succeeded in developing a revolutionary chip for optical routers, capable of operating up to 100 times faster than currently available chips. This is the first monolithic integrated optical circuit for optical routers.
