Ultraviolet light affects function of protein involved in Ewing’s sarcoma, study finds

Researchers in Spain have discovered that ultraviolet light affects the function of the protein EWS, the mutation of which is responsible for Ewing’s sarcoma. The results indicate that the EWS protein has a protective effect on DNA.
