To Be A Science Writer Or Not!

In order to write effectively for the public, you must first love that about which you are writing. If you do not not love that about which you are writing, then how do you expect your readers to love what you have written? And with love comes passion, and with passion comes anger! Don't ever lose your anger! If there were nothing in the world in which we live that did not conform to what we envision as a perfect world--a utopia, if you will--then there would be nothing about which to be angry and therefore nothing about which to write....would there? Plato once wrote, "Only the dead have seen the last of war." Well, all of life is warfare on a daily basis, whether it be with swords, pistols, weapons of mass destruction or words. read more
