Common Sense About Science

I saw a good article by Nick Wade in the NY Times science section today, although I have to admit it left me scratching my head as well. It's called "Rare Hits and Heaps of Misses to Pay For," and unlike most articles you read in the mainstream press it actually has some common-sense things to say about scientific research.
