Dart-Shaped Vehicle Tests NASA's Orion Spacecraft's Parachutes | Video

The vehicle was dropped from a C-17 airplane flying at 35,000 feet. The shape of the vehicle put more stress on the drogue parachutes, to simulate the high speed re-entry of Orion. They also simulated a failure of one of the parachutes.
