US Air Force Using Lasers to Preserve Historic Space Launch Pads

The U.S. Air Force is using a new tool in its effort to preserve space history: lasers. The 45th Space Wing is using a laser scanner to create virtual models of the Cape Canaveral space launch complexes in partnership with the University of South Florida.
