Rootworms may resist herbicide, study says

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind., Aug. 3 (UPI) -- Volunteer corn -- unwanted plants from a previous year's harvest -- can provide a safe harbor for pests from insecticides, U.S. researchers reported Monday.
