BEIJING, Aug. 30 (UPI) -- China is moving forward with its South-North Water Transfer Project aimed at diverting water from the massive Yangtze River Basin more than 620 miles south to northern China, with 60,000 people scheduled to be relocated by September 30 and several hundred thousand by 2014.
