Giant prehistoric bird a 'gentle' giant

BELLINGHAM, Wash., Nov. 23 (UPI) -- Fossil footprints likely made by the giant bird Diatryma suggest it was a "gentle herbivore" and not a fierce carnivore, U.S. researchers say.
