Ancient lava flows could explain pie-shaped landform on Mars

Brooks HaysPASADENA, Calif., Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Researchers say the 1.2-mile wide circle of rumpled Martian crust -- a strange pie-shaped formation -- was likely created by lava flows thousands of years ago.
