Synthetic sugar molecule may help fight C. difficile

Stephen FellerMUNICH, Germany, May 12 (UPI) -- Scientists in Germany found a sugar on the surface of C. difficile cells may be able to train the immune system to prevent it from infecting at-risk patients.
