Special Ops Command contracts Barrett for new sniper rifles

Barrett Firearms was awarded a $49.9 million contract by USSOCOM for the company's MRAD rifles in .300 PRC that will fire .338 Norma Magnum, .300 NM and 7.62mm NATO cartridges.
