Twister On Mars! Orbiter Captures Dust Devil Reaching Into Atmosphere | Video

NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter's image of this dust devil was converted to 3D imagery. It’s ½-mile tall with a 100 ft-wide core. But because Mars' atmosphere is so thin, these "tornadoes" aren't very strong compared to Earthly counterparts.
