Glue helps breastbone heal after open-heart surgery

A glue that rapidly bonds to bone can speed up recovery of the breastbone after surgeons intentionally break it during open-heart surgery, researchers in Calgary find. Breastbone heals in hours instead of weeks, surgeon says.
