Butterflies inspire bug-size flying robots

Engineers at John Hopkins University are studying how butterflies flutter to help design bug-size airborne robots that can mimic these manoeuvres to carry out reconnaissance, search-and-rescue and environmental monitoring missions without risking human lives.
