Very feathered fossil shows Archaeopteryx was fit to fly

Scientists have long debated whether the ancient dinosaur-like bird Archaeopteryx really could fly. The debate appears to have been settled by an analysis of a fossil that preserves the bird's feathers in incredible detail.
