Rise in rocket launches may hurt ozone, study says

With the U.S. and other nations planning trips to the moon and Mars, the increase in rocket traffic could deplete the ozone layer worse than CFCs did. Some atmospheric researchers are suggesting that rocket launches may ultimately have to be restricted in number to avoid serious damage to the Earth's protective ozone layer.
