Dinosaur Nests with Eggshells Unearthed in Portugal

Some of the eggs once held embryos from the largest predator of its day. However, researchers aren’t sure how the eggs came to be abandoned so long ago, suggesting perhaps the mama dinosaur left them to their own fate.
