Small Volcanic Floods Packed Biggest Punch in Iceland

When Iceland's Eyjafjallajökull volcano erupted in 2010, it melted glacial ice and sent floods called jökulhlaups over the surrounding landscape. A study has found that smaller floods did more to shape the landscape than larger ones did.
