Head of Goddess Aphrodite Statue Unearthed in Turkey

A group of archaeologists discovered a life-sized marble head of Aphrodite while digging up an ancient mosaic in southern Turkey. Buried under soil for nearly two thousand years, the goddess of love and beauty has some chipping on her nose and face.
