National Science Foundation Awards Rutgers $1.4 Million to Help Create Ways to Analyze 'Big Data'

The National Science Foundation (NSF) has awarded two Rutgers researchers nearly $1.4 million as part of an initiative to extract useful information from so-called "big data" - massive collections of data from sources such as scientific instruments, digital images, social media streams and business transactions.
