NASA finds minor scratch damage to shuttle shield

CAPE CANAVERAL, Florida (Reuters) - The U.S. space shuttle Atlantis apparently was hit by a piece of debris that nicked part of its heat shield but the damage appeared very minor, NASA said on Tuesday.
