Study finds epigenetic similarities between Wilms tumour cells and normal kidney stem cells

A detailed analysis of the epigenetics - factors controlling when and in what tissues genes are expressed - of Wilms tumour reveals striking similarities to stem cells normally found in foetal kidneys.
