Heart failure care improved by performance intervention at outpatient cardiology practices

A new study tested a new performance intervention to help improve adherence to national guideline-recommended therapies for heart failure patients in an outpatient setting. Although several programs have helped improve heart failure patient care in the hospital, this is the largest performance improvement intervention on the use of national guideline-recommended therapies in an outpatient clinic setting.
