Experimental drug raises 'good' cholesterol, may help control diabetes

An experimental cholesterol drug improved blood sugar control in diabetic patients on statins, a new study shows. The drug raises levels of "good" cholesterol and may help lower cardiovascular disease risk in people with diabetes.
