Scientist collects 30 sawfly species not previously reported from Arkansas

An entomologist at the University of Arkansas recently collected thirty species of plant-feeding wasps that had not been previously recorded in the state. While many of the species are widely distributed in eastern North America, eight species represent significant western range extensions of hundreds of kilometers.
