Look, I think we need to explain to people that yes, hopefully in time the LHC could produce a micro black hole if indeed M-Theory is correct and if the LHC is able to pull in some of those extra dimensions predicted by M-Theory allowing gravity to be as strong as it is believed to be and that it's OK. We need to be direct and honest with people and explain to them why, not only are micro black holes nothing to fear, but why a micro black hole is something that many theoretical and particle physicists are hoping can be created in the LHC. read more
