Titan's Surprisingly Earth-like Surface Revealed - in Color

Peaking under the thick atmosphere using Cassini's Visual and Infrared Mapping Spectrometer, an international team has composed a global color map of Titan. This mosaic was compiled from imagery taken over seventy flybys of Saturn's largest moon.
