Prototype Lander Makes First Nighttime Free-Flight | Video

NASA's Morpheus lander ascended to more than 800 feet, flew forward and downward ~1300 feet and landed on May 28th, 2014. It also performed a 78-foot divert to simulate a hazard avoidance maneuver.
