Rosetta Probe Snaps Spinning Comet Nucleus | Video

The European probe is en route to study comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. On June 27-28, 2014, its OSIRIS’ narrow angle camera (NAC) captured the nucleus of the comet rotating at a period of 12.4 hours.
